I love french onion soup, and when you make it with a proper beef bone broth – it’s a medicinal soup.
5-6 yellow onions
4 beef bones
Apple cider vinegar
parsley ( garnish)
First you need to make the bone broth. Put your beef bones in the crockpot and fill it with water, add apple cider vinegar & red wine. Cook for about 2 hours on low. Let the marrow fall out in broth. Add onions, garlic & thyme, cook for another 3 hours. Discard bones. Ladle soup into ramekins & top with cheese , flash broil in oven until cheese is bubbling. Garnish with parsley (optional)
