Grain free apple crisp

This dessert is so yummy, easy and not at all bad for you.  Except we do like ours with a  spoonful of vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients:

6 apples sliced 

5 cups of mixed unsalted nuts

1 stick of butter

1 cup of honey

1 cup of coconut sugar

1/2 cup of almond flour

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon

1 Teaspoon Ground Cardamon

1/2 Teaspoon Ground ginger
Method: Preheat oven to 350. slice apples and place with butter in pie pan with butter. Cover apples in pie pan with tin foil and put in the oven for 10 minutes. Meanwhile put nuts in blender and grind, but don’t make nut butter, you want the nuts to look like crumbles. Take nut crumble out of blender & mix with last 7 ingredients, still trying to keep a crumble like appearance. Top apples with crumble mixture and put back in the oven until the crumbles begin to brown & the apples are cooked through. Serve with ice cream.
